I'm sorry if this question is old news. I have a 2002 ranger 4x4 with 16 x 7 wheels with a 12 mm offset. I'm looking at factory wheels from a 2007 - 2011 ranger. The wheels also say 16 x 7 with a 12 mm offset. Will these just fit right on or is there something else I need to look for? Also, I don't have the PVH hubs. Thanks

As long as the wheels are from a 4X4 Ranger, they should fit.

They will all be interchangeable from 2000-2011.

How did the swapping of wheels go? I don't run OEM wheels on my truck anymore since I bought a set of aftermarket wheels from 4WheelOnline a few months ago.

Went good rode on them for 3 weeks. was offered more than I paid for them so I sold them. Now I'm back on factory originals that came on the truck.

hey guys, i got a similar question. I also have 02 Ranger XLT 4WD, Its got 15" wheels on it now, I have new 235 85 16 tires from my broke down chevy. Id like to put these tires on new or good used wheels and put on the Ranger. I do plan a torsion leveling kit, as i was told with that the 16's would fit, with no mods. Will any wheel with a 4-4.5 patterns and big enough center hole fit on this Ranger? Thanks for the replies!

I'm guessing you meant 5 on 4.5 pattern?

I'm pretty sure your 02 4x4 came on 16's... unless it was an FX4. So any of the Ranger 16 inch wheels should work just fine... with a bit of tweaking on the torsion bars.

I looked at that size 235/85/16 pretty hard when tire/wheel shopping. All that I looked at recommended a wheel width no wider then 7.5 inches. 16x7 inch aftermarket wheels were hard to find... most are 8 inch wide.

Im pretty sure it came with 16's too. On the door panel its list 16 as the size. I do plan on a minimal lift to allow the 235 85 to fit. Its less expensive to get new wheels than new 15" tires, my 16" are very new. I was looking in my local scrapping yard for Ranger 16's or Explorer wheels, but could only come up with 1 or 2, so Ill probably get aftermarkets, cause the wheels on my chevy are 8 leg, and they wont fit. Thanks for the very helpful information!
