I haaaate the d35 system for setting the wheel bearings!!! I found something(not sure if it's a mod or an upgrade) on the ranger station site to convert the system to a normal (no pin) system, I just can't find it again. Anybody know where thats at????

I looked at the second link (locknut) earlier today and that seems to be appropriate for what I'm trying to do. I just thought I seen something else on the site a little while ago. That was probably what I looked at and couldn't remember if it was the same deal. I just could've sworn that there is a kit or something you can do to eliminate the pin altogether so you don't have to decide whether to go too loose or too tight to slide the stupid pin in. Thanks for the torque tip though!

If the pin isn't lining up (and you don't want to move the nut), flip the washer over (it's purposely designed a hair offset just for that reason).

Awesome, didn't know that. I appreciate that tip too! I'm going to apply the extra torque to 'em this weekend.
