Wondering if the arch from a 83-88 ranger will work on a 90 box? They seemed similar

Never knew that, I wonder if anyone has a detailed pic comparing the two?

I had bought arches to fix my 86. As part of a deal selling a 89 I gave the arches with the deal. He used them but had to cut them in half and make about a 2-3" piece to fill the center. My memory may be suspect, this was a few years ago.

Did it look weird compared to the front?

It is hard enough to find a clean 83-92 box, limiting it to 83-88 won't help any. :bawling:

Once he was done you couldn't tell it was pieced together. But it is what he does for a living. The shadow lines looked the same as stock.
