I hit 153,000 the other day on my '08 Ranger. I bought it new and still runs like the day I drove it off the dealer lot.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
My 93 Ranger project shows 161,900 but I haven't started the 351 or driven it yet. My 77 Cobra II had 75,281 on it when I dragged it out of a barn in 1990 and is now at 155,000 and the 2016 Escape just hit 34,000. My 2011 Ranger had 42,000 when I sold it 3 weeks ago.

Currently 245,000 miles on my 1975 Ranchero GT. I bought it new.

I just had the engine, factory 460, rebuilt. The compression was still good and never used over a quart of oil between 4,000 mile oil changes - all leaking oil I suspect. Actually this engine was leaking oil and water just about everywhere - a good reason for the rebuild. Also some performance improvement, nothing radical but 400 hp on the dyno.

My 93 was built in MN and bought by a guy in Asheville, NC and sold after the first year to a college girl there who wanted a 4WD for the snow covered hills of winter. She drove it the next 12 years and I got it in Nashville,TN in 2006 with 234,000 miles and a full folder of its maintenance records. Replaced the clutch and slave cylinder right away and used it to move to OK (four 600 miles each way trips with a loaded down truck and 10ft trailer). In its 14 year in OK now with 340,000 miles and waiting for a rebuilt transmission that should arrive shortly. After that I'll have to consider whether to get a rebuilt block.
It's still in fairly good shape, needs a new windshield and headliner, but these Oklahoma roads have been rough, I take mostly to the highways now. I recently put a new rear axle shaft and bearings, wheel cylinders and brake shoes on the back, new rotors, calipers, bearings and pads on the front, and will probably get right into the front end and differential soon after getting the engine and transmission sorted out

Just shy of 151,000 on my 94, lovingly referred to by my kid and her mom as "The Eggplant." Purchased it just over 2 years ago now when it had 142,700 miles on it. It came up north from Virginia with 121,000 in 2011 and sat for a few years in dry storage.
