What type of blue is this?.... It is a 1994 Xlt

Look in the door jamb. I can't remember where, but there was a thread or a tech library article that had all the paint codes listed.

Open driverside door, look at door jamb at sticker. Should say "EXT PNT" then a two digit code. That's your color code.


Another way to put a name to the code, is go to paintscratch.com and look up your truck. Match the code to the color name...BAM!

Paintscratch is good except all the colours seem a little light. Mine is definelty Pacific Green but it really does not look close. Could just be my screen though...

That color was called "Brilliant Blue Clearcoat Metallic" in the '94 brochure.

Yeah....they're not to be used as a comparison, just a ballpark. It gets the point across though.

Ha ha! I had the color matched today and it is KE. That is the code anyway!
