Hey guys!

Was thinking about installing the air-locker from Stage3Motorsports on my 2wd Lariat.

I recently went on my first offroad trail run with some 4wd buddies and.... I'm in love. I don't want to trade in my truck on a 4wd Ranger so I'll do the next best thing and make mine a bit more capable.

Hence - the air-locker. $1700 for the locker, compressor, manifold, gears, and master kit are a helluva lot cheaper than a new truck ;).

But Stage3 has an M200 option and an M220. The instructions urge you to verify what kind of axle you have.... but I've no idea how to do that.

Any of you guys know what I'm missing?

Some reading for you, it looks like you have the M220

Fun fact, the ring gear is welded to the carrier... not sure if you can get a new ring gear to go with an aftermarket carrier or how that works.

Another idea, even 2wd's could be had with a factory e-locker. Check into retrofitting that? Probably a PITA but if you could snag an axle out of a wreck with the factory locker they all have 3.73's...

I'm looking at 2019/20 Rangers and would like to know the rear axle code for the LSD. Seems to me that 4WD without LSD is waiting to get stuck somewhere. Thoughts / info?? Thanks in advance

There is no LSD option. Locker or no locker are your only choices from the factory.
