They probably do...but you have to look in the right places...I was driving by and saw the monitor sticking out of a box...thought I could salvage parts from...like the stand...then I saw the tower and thought I could use the RAM...I actually just tossed it into the back of my truck and it got snow all over it...gave it a try...bingo! I was shocked...lol...not by the wet electronics though...:)

Looks good...:icon_thumby:

thank you

I have the HP Envy 14 Beats edition. It is basically HP copying the MacBook, but man is it nice. Best part for me is the aluminum case. This thing takes a beating daily since I run all my diag programs off of it.

Here are the specs:

Envy 14
• Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
• 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM (2.3 GHz, 8MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz
• 1GB DDR3 Radeon(TM) HD 6630 switchable Graphics [HDMI, Mini Display Port]
• 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 System Memory (2 DIMM)
• 640GB 7200RPM Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection

Another major pro is the Backlit Keyboard, HD Webcam and True HD screen.

currently using previously mention 486... im still surprised how well it works.
plays 128k 44khz standard mp3s without skipping!
i got it loaded with 80 gigs of music and its now my overgrown ipod..
and it actually works on trs too, due to the lack of java this site uses, screw java..

how often do you see a 486 with 120gigs of storage!! :icon_twisted:

I'm using HP Pavilion dv 9000. It’s an old model but still support for windows latest version without any problem.

I've got an HP DV9000 sitting here on my workbench.

All it does is blink the lights and make a beep or two.

Be NICE to it, the Ball-Grid-Array method of joining the video chip to the motherboard is sensitive to flexing the motherboard and to overheating and the Video chip tends to disconnect itself from the Motherboard.. and when that happens it goes "black screen" on you.

they can be repaired, but...

Aspire Z5700 is really amazing desktop Pc and very stylish, 1080p display uncommon at this price and fast Intel Core i5 CPU. Hard Drive Capacity is 640 GB, all in one case style is the main reason I like this PC.
