What is the plastic ball shaped part in my engine compartment. It has 2 vacuum lines. And what is its purpose?

My credo
Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
It's probably a vacuum tank. Not sure without an image.

My credo
I poop in the furnace.
Vacuum reservoir. It holds vacuum so that the climate controls still work even when the engine is under load and not producing enough vacuum to power them.

Excellent, I figured it was related to my climate control. Wasn't sure what to call it.
