Anti-seize has been about the best option I've seen. I don't need it on either of the trucks but the girlfriend's spare is held up in a cage type retainer with a hook and bolt system on the one end. I have to check that thing every spring and fall to make sure it stays lubed well enough in order to be able to access the spare easily enough. Especially if she has to do the job herself. Anything else I've tried just washes away. Even the anti-seize washes away but has held up the best of everything I've tried and goop the living crap out of the bolt before dropping the cage and after.
