What's the worst that could happen?
94 4.0L V6, there is a brace on the left front of the engine. Looks like it bolts to the block and extends toward the left tire and connects to the frame with a small shock absorber. I'm sorry I don't have an image for it (I do but with all the crap in the way it ain't worth posting). If I don't know what to call it, it's hard to find a replacement and it looks like I need one.

Question on posting: I started another string entitled "I know I shouldn't...but can I?" about removing the heads. As I go through that process and come up with questions, should I post them there or create a new post? Thanks.

It was like that when I found it.
It's a vibration dampener. Not needed.

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
And if it is on the same topic, or related, it may be better to keep all the info in one thread.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Sometimes, if in the process of restoring, building or just catching up on a lot of neglected repairs, people will start one common thread as a "build thread" for their project. It serves as a good place to keep all your questions, answers and progress all in one place. Easy to refer back to later instead of searching a bunch of separate threads..
