Crossed threads are tight threads.
You ever think about a P71 interceptor vic? As a bonus they are cheap.
My buddy has one, I borrowed it for a bit in exchange for my motorcycle. It was awesome, but a big swaying thirsty boat. Will consider. I'd only get a retired police interceptor like his.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
My son's first new car- that he still owns- is a 17 Fusion Sport with a 2,7 EcoBoost and awd. Unless you're behind it and can see the exhaust tips, it looks pretty much like any Fusion. 325hp and it got close to 30 mpg on our trip to Carlisle this year, even with his size 13 pressing the accelerator. There should be some of those out there. I liked the SHOs, they drove good and had some power. Scoops and spoilers don't do much for me. The later ones with 3.5 EcoBoost engines would fly.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I was considering a 2.3EB Lincoln MKZ before I bought my truck. One of the 3.7EB MKZs would be MUCH more fun though..

Just a little tidbit though....the Crown vic LX and marquis GS have the performance od the P71 but with a civilian interior. If you wanted something a bit less fleet feeling.

Not trying to sway you toward a panther car, but they are stupid reliable, relativly cheap and perform well.

The 2v is a dog in those cars, drove one for a little while. Got about 17-18mpg. The one I had was beat to shit so I can not comment to interior quality or ride quality.

They're really not that quick. I had a p71 I put a trick flow upper plenum on, a bigger T.B, kooks longtubes, high flow cats, and midpipe... and got walked by an 05 jetta 1.8t with an Intake lol. From a roll or a dead stop... walked by the stupid Hitler mobile. So disappointing.

It sounded good, and did one hell of a burnout.. but certainly not a fast car. The P.I model vics only put about 215hp to the wheels from the factory.

They are super reliable though.. theres a reason every taxi in the states was a panther platform lol.

It depends on the one you get. The "pursuit package" cars came with a 3.55 rear. The cruiser ones had either a 3.08 or a 3.25. Cant remember which. No they arnt rockets but they run pretty good and are a pretty balanced package in my opinion.

Also depends on the year. I think in 03ish they were making 260hp with a better suspension as well.

250 flywheel was it.

The 4.6 is like the 3.0, gear it deep and let it sing. It wont do much but you will probably get bored with what it does before it dies.
