Not sure if posted in the right place, but I need to replace my Fusion.... not worth the money, time and labor to fix it.

Seeking another 4 door sleeper. The Chevy SS and Cobalt SS are badass, but they are Chevys. What's the Ford version of these? Maybe a Lincoln MK series or something? Or should I go Japan, Brit or Euro? I'm not a fan of Jaguars... Ugh I hate car shopping...

Unfortunately no, but I would track down a good used one. I would rather not buy new. I kinda dig older vehicles that the bugs have been worked out of...

I glanced at the focus st...They're ok I guess, not awesome to me... might go look at one...

They are fun to drive. We test drove a few but the timing belt turned me off. The mazda speed three is the same vehicle but with a timing chain instead

I would buy a Marauder. I read about those too. total badass sleepers. Probably impossible to find around here though. Not a lot of older stuff survives Commiefornia emissions.

Haha my mom lives in Vegas. She says the insurance cost of LV registered address out weighs the dmv savings. And she is a shrewd business lady, card shark, and slot jockey. The numbers have been crunched.

I think you mean AZ, that's where the wild west still exists.

Those marauders are sweet. Good mileage on the highway too. Not bad in town, either, if they are similar to the crown Vic and towncars.

The Mazdas are well made. My wife has a mazda3 touring, not the speed3 but a regular sedan and it's great to drive and averages 24mpg in town and 34 on the highway at 80.

She loves it and was very happy with it as a replacement for her titanium 2018 escape. The touring has all the electronic junk and the larger 2.5 four cylinder versus the S model which is a 2.0.

Might have to start shopping for Marauders and maybe plan a road trip....

Carmax search had no results matching "econobox".

Taurus SHO is probably the closest thing, twin turbo V6 instead of a V8. to the SS

Although the Focus RS is pretty cool too.

I considered the Taurus SHO. Maybe its my trauma of how crappy and common the Taurus was back in my youth, but I cant really get into them. Too much of a little league dad/ accountant vibe, not really a car guy sleeper...maybe a little too sleepy lol. They look like tanks, which I kind of appreciate.

I would probably go Lincoln at that point....
