What double din units fit best.

My beloved AM/FM factory radio died and prices for a used one are stupid. I've decided I'm just gonna get a double din touchscreen unit with the GPS and what not. I've looked at a bunch of install videos and write ups and some seem to fit with very minor trimming of the bezel, some require all sorts of hacking and modifications.

So for those of you who have installed double din setups, which brand and models have you found to be the easiest installs?

I want GPS, touch screen, and the ability to play videos. Android would be nice to watch videos on Netflix or online but as long as I can just watch a dvd or something I dont really care.

Opinions?

Oh btw is an 09.

Any double DIN will fit the same way, you'll just have to make some slight trim cuts to the bezel to get the mounting brackets to fit. Once that's done, the radio just mounts to the brackets. I've currently got a JVC bluetooth radio in mine (KW-R925BTS), but will be switching to a Kenwood DDX-9705S at some point in the near future to add Android Auto support. That one's available dirt cheap now and has a full touch screen with internal GPS (no onboard nav but it feeds the GPS data to the phone for processing, then displays the map).

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Just a thought about navigation. The Pioneer unit I recently installed in my F150 is like what Fadtpakr said. It has a GPS antenna to help out. But no navigation built in. My thought was; with built in nav, your maps eventually go out of date and you have to pay for updates. With Android Auto, I am using Google maps on my phone for free. But it's displayed in the "big screen" of my stereo. Working great so far.

That was one of the features I specifically wanted. In the past you had two competing problems - built in nav gets you an external antenna with far better reception but out of date/expensive maps. Using the phone gives you a much better POI set and constantly updated maps and traffic info, but may lose reception depending on where the phone is sitting in the car. These new radios are less expensive than traditional navigation units but ultimately offer the best of both worlds. I just installed a DDX-9705S in my wife's 2003 MDX the other day and have been very impressed so far. Looking forward to having it in the truck as well.

I had a KENWOOD CD/DVD/Bluetooth. IDK the part/model #, but is sounds just like the one @fastpakr mentioned. Touchscreen was awesome but still had one knob and a few buttons, changeable backgrounds, you could even upload your own custom backgrounds. IMO Kenwood is the way to go.

That's not a bad option. It's a little more than the one I mentioned earlier and you lose the onboard GPS. The only other thing that immediately jumps out at me is 22w RMS on the kenwood vs 14 on the Pioneer.

I like the CD/cassette player in mine - it sounds great actually, and I've been having a ball dragging out old tapes I haven't listened to in years. It has a radio too, but I can't imagine any reason to turn that on.

As far as I know, any recent head unit with a screen is set up to handle a back up camera. A lot can do a front camera as well now to record traffic incidents.

Progresso. Non condensed. Its ready to eat. Peal off the lid and eat. Why's that confusing? I work out of my truck so i eat in my truck. I had to drive somewhere while finishing my soup and it ended poorly. I spend at least 8 hours a week just sitting in my truck eating, watching tv, or whatever.

I got these new window shade clingy things so half the time im not even wearing pants.
