Nothing wrong with RIA. Mine is a Metro Arms "American Classic Commander"... so it's got the shorter barrel & slide. Also made in the Philipines. Really nice looking gun although I kinda wish it didn't have "American Classic Commander" engraved in huge letters on the slide.
My buddy has either a Springfield or Remington, don't remember which. It is a stainless model and a really nice gun but it gets awful dirty and shows every bit of it. Kinda understand why people go with blued or parkerized, mine doesn't look dirty all the time.
I HATE when companies put their logo or whatever as big as they can, especially on firearms.
I almost ordered a stainless one.. couldn't bring myself to do it though lol. Might have mine done up with cerakote.. theres a handful of places local to me that do it.
Kimbers in .45ACP IN 3", 4", and 5". Plus a Walther made Colt Gold Cup 1911 in .22LR.
Wooah Mr fancy pants over here
jelous. There was a used Kimber micro-carry in their 1911 case that I really thought about picking up.. 700$ and looked like it just sat in a safe.. just a little too small. Wanted to get back into something bigger after carrying the LCP for so long.
i have a rock island armory 1911a1 in commander size. its a nice solid pistol that never misfires. and if you run out of ammo, you can cave in heads with it.
its the older version of this one.
