More camping equipment got put away in the shed. The back porch got cleaned up some. And the brakes on the 2011 got inspected, cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as well as a few lubrication points were greased while the wheels were off.

I got the transmission and transfer case cradles for the transmission jack built. So, they will be ready for when I go to replace the clutch. I'm not sure if I really needed a transfer case cradle but better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I'm sure it will make bolting the thing back on to the transmission a heck of a lot easier. Both have a base plate big enough to be bolted onto the base plate of the jack.

I didn’t even see the Mountain Dew. Those brands aren’t allowed down here in Coca-Cola country.

The 2011. Ranger manual transmissions are round on the bottom and not flat like the automatics. Not having a cradle makes re-installation of the transmission a real S.O.B. of a job to complete.

Currently sitting on my deck...

The squirrels are fat and happy...

Feels like a war zone... lots of acorn bombs falling from the sky.

I've never learned a thing from anyone who agreed with me...
Outside of a couple veteran service organization meetings, I attended and helped out at a September 11th remembrance ceremony. One of the rare times one will see me in my dress blues. I'm a mechanic and don't like wearing suits.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I actually enjoy that about fall. The last 2 houses I
Lived in had lots of oak trees and lots of squirrels. I enjoyed them scampering around and dropping acorns.
