Got the o2 sensors installed, truck now runs better than it ever has.
Plugging in the rear one was a slight PITA.. one of the pins from the old sensor plug was snapped off flush in the plug on the harness side.. that took a little friggery to get out.. but it went a lot quicker and easier than I was expecting.
Pretty sure I wasted 12$ on that tube of ultra-grey though. After closer inspection it seems like my continued drip of coolant isn't from the hard pipe>pump connection... but from the rubber hoses that slip onto the hard pipe. The hoses are driven right home.. but they'll wanna seep a bit until you put the clamps back on them
dummy
Didn't end up taking it for a drive, but I did get to enjoy the sounds of the new exhaust at idle while standing behind the truck. That damn China header and my "n1" style exhaust sounds
incredible sitting there idling.
Put your foot in it though.. and she sounds like the four cylinder'n-est four cylinder to ever have four cylinders. It almost sounds exactly like an f1 car... just 200mph slower. I'm just staggered at its level of volume.. I figured sticking to 2.25" would keep the noise to a reasonable level... nope
The first 5 minutes of my test drive are gonna be super amusing.. then I'm gonna find a spot to pull over and hop right on Amazon for more muffler
