Trying to fix a washing machine. Replacing shaft, bearings and seal. But...
The inner drum doesn't want to come out. Supposed to remove a screw, lift the impeller out, then simply "lift the drum out". Yeah. It moves about 1/2". Must be rust on the shaft down below the top mating surface. It's worth putting some time on this. Parts and tools were only $50. That's much better than a new machine.
