drives a stick shift ranger
got my actual threaded shift knob i ordered. a nice black heavy metal club looking knob thats makes the arm a little longer, also. it threaded on perfectly and looks great.

i would post a picture but i cannot send picsto my work email without the IT deal blocking the pictures as spam. no matter what i named them, also.

i also got the replacement dust boot on, that goes on the shifter base (since the one that came with it from the guy i got it from, was torn).

If it's not broken Don't Fix It!
Spent all of yesterday afternoon on the pool. i have it cloudy with a slight tinge of green. We are borrowing the neighbor's extra pump and filter system to have two filtering systems going since our pump only does 1000 GPH to try and speed up the filtering process. We are now filtering at roughly 2000 gallons per hour so we doubled the filtering speed. Our light up ducky 🐤 clorinator is putting down some fast lap times now. He's doing a lap every 2 mins in a 18 foot diameter pool.

Been having trouble linking Facebook pics to the thread. It might just be me and not knowing how to link them properly. I have pics to share but can't seem to figure it out right now.

Today is filter cleaning and stying out of the sun as much as possible since I got burnt yesterday and was getting sick from to much sun.

The GF tried her new vacuum for the pool and found it very hard to use also. She thinks there is another one in the lawn and pool shed that we could try. I have To go home today or tomorrow so she will need to at a minimum stay up on the filters and chlorine while I'm gone.

Got a little work done on the F-150, but not much. Between, rain, lack of motion (it wasn’t one of my better days), and time constraints, yeah. But the transmission is now ready to be put back in. So that’s something.

Late start to the day but got some done... started by straightening the steering linkage for the Ranger which worked really nice, winged it and it clears great! Then I jumped on the tractor and started mowing the back area, decided to leave most of it since it's mostly some short native grass that's only like a foot tall and going to seed which sounds good to me... then switched to the wetland and got some of that done before a rain shower when I went in and my brother came about then to go with me to work on the combine he's buying. That thing had a bearing go out on the giant idler pulley that goes to the transmission I think it is. Got that back together then went back to my shop to fix the side mirror on the guy with the combine's farm truck that the mirror fell off... just installed a rivnut and tapped a couple other holes and it's good to go :).

Then back to mowing with the tractor and noticed one of the rear tires was flat, filled it up and noticed it was leaking pretty bad, filled it up and mowed for a while to see how bad and it lasted 45 minutes... I think it already has a tube and it's filled so that sucks... so far only finding tubes that will arrive on the 26th so I'll probably call around locally...

Ok, found a Monday delivery tube, have a liquid tire fill adapter coming on Monday too along with some big tire patches, will stop by HFT tomorrow for a drill pump and a fluid evacuator dealy that I'll just stab the tube through the slash in the tire that I'm going to patch... simplest options... And realized Walmart has the cheapest tractor tires for whatever reason by a long shot, almost $300 savings over Amazon even getting Carlisle tires... will leave that for a winter project or save that for later, I've gotten 10 years out of the tractor as is so far...

Installed an AC in my living room. Not really any good place downstairs for windows units, so I put in a big wall unit.

Had to cut through 6” of wood and plaster. For some reason people have a hard time believing me when I tell them my walls are made of solid wood.

Old four room house from the 1800s. Built in the woods near an old iron mine.

A lot of trees had to die to build that house.

I would have gone with a mini split instead of cutting through all that.

That's different. Most of the old houses I have experience with just had lathe walls with nothing to provide any kind of insulation other than theoretical dead air space.
