Naw, sounds good to me. Any idea what RPM you've got?

Mine idles about 1200 for too long. Eventually drops to about 950 in park. I think this is too high but it's been that way for a long time.

I think its about the same but my glowshift tac jumps to much so I try to listen to the sound I was aiming for around 1000 for the Bcam

I was thinking 700-750 when warm would be good for mine. Of course mines only a 4L OHV but I'm running a custom tune. I thought maybe the tune was causing it but dropping it back to the stock parameters didn't help/

Did you delete the emissions? Supposedly with fords that can cause high idle issues.

No on the emissions delete. Still have to do the emissions test down here. Of course if I could go back and forth with the delete it would be cool. I don't think I can do that with my SCT though.

Im not sure of the benefits of it for a 4.0 but I have none. Obd1 and its visual inspection. Plus no inspection stations around here care about obd1 anymore. Just look at saftey and cats really.

Give me money.
I think Ca and Ny still test obd1 vehicles to the emission standards at the time with the sniffer. Most states just ignore them all together though. In NJ anything pre 96 has no inspection at all. Obd2 is just a plug in test no safety or sniffer.

I sniff fuel for a living. Don't judge me!
Aired up the front tires on the 2011 today. I got the 1750# leaf springs, Code1 torsion bars, and shocks that fit a 2007 FX4 on order Friday. I just need to get u-bolts that will fit with lift blocks installed, the lift blocks, pre-2008 torsion keys, and torsion key tool ordered at some point. Once I have the truck up on stands and the suspension torn apart, I can see what ball joints are complaining and get those on order. Hopefully, the whole project will be relatively painless when it's all said and done.

I think MD is just plug in every 2 years and an inspection once you purchase the vehicle. And you can do the plug in yourself at a station if you wanted to.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

You can get air almost anywhere if you have your own compressor. It's free for the taking.
Apparently there's a new bill that makes using air taxable....

General Spring had the best price. $129 a side. Plus a little over $82 in shipping.
I was afraid of that.

Looks like it's going to be1200 lb springs from rock auto and cutting them apart to add a leaf.

Or an Air Lift suspension kit.

That's insanity for shipping.
