I sniff fuel for a living. Don't judge me!
My replacement motorcrafts have zerks.

And my originals were still tight at 34 years lol.
Much better than anything I've ever seen. I'll have to check with the dealership if they offer the ones with zircs. I need to stop by and show them the recall on the wiring connector for the 2019 anyway.

I still need to confirm what is bad anyway before I throw parts at it.

Motorcraft at Rockauto is about the same price as Moog or whatever at a parts store.

Balljoints from the dealer would probably need financing...

I did briefly look at Rock Auto just to see what was out there and at how much. I don't remember any of the Motorcraft parts having zircs but it was a brief look.

My Ranger has two MC with zerks and I just put one in my F-150 with a zerk a couple weeks ago... but yours takes a different joint than either of mine so your results may vary.

My stock ball joints have grease zerks and honestly they haven't needed replacement any time soon, damn I need to wash my truck but I've been helping my friend. He's got a unicorn Volkswagen station wagon that were fixing the multifunction neutral safety switch thing....not forking fun.....but his car will get better gas mileage than mine so would be nice to drive his more than mine at times....

None of mine do. The 1998 RWD XLT I had didn't have them either. It must have been a luck of the draw type thing. I will definitively look for MC with zircs before anything else. I have a bit of time yet since the suspension complaints are mild and only in limited instances. It's so limited right now, I might not even get any movement while trying to manipulate things with a pry bar. I suspect I might need to undo the fastener(s) and manipulate the ball joints directly by hand or remove the boot to see what is going bad. Fix them while the problem is small and cheap as possible before things get real bad and get potentially much more expensive.

ON another note. My Christmas present finally came in and it is all charged up. It's to replace the jump starter in the 2019 that the battery went bad in. It has great reviews and performed very well, if not the best during Project Farm's semi-scientific torture test.

I also added a 24" breaker bar with 3" extension and 19mm deep well, six-point socket to the 2019 so that if the girlfriend is stuck replacing a tire, she has something with enough leverage that she can break the lug nuts loose.

Was able to wash Old Green yesterday but need to clean the glass today, maybe dust it off from pulling another passat and breaking my last good rope

Here how they came out. I also painted the center caps that had become weathered and grey-ish, and also fitted new lug nuts. What do you think?

Changed to my unbroken rear slider window that I've had for like 5 years today... I broke one of the slider panes when I rolled it in about '11 and hasn't been the same since... while I was working on it I looked at the top of the windshield to try to figure out why it has been leaking... turns out there was rust under the sealer. I took the cheezy way out and just cleaned it up to bare steel and smeared Ultra Black silicone over the areas with issues...

I used mine to bring home a dresser that had to be put together. Third build-a-furniture in three months.

:word:

I threw my new mirror in the seat, it will be awhile before it is warm enough to install it.
