On Friday I installed the correct backup lights and they're LEDs, I'll say they're much brighter than my original Factory incandescent light bulbs, and for shits and giggles I took my Ranger to a car show in my hometown after I washed it, internet was down like I said previous post for the last couple days hence why I couldn't post these images but here they are... on the subject of this thread old green took my dog on my usual trip into my hometown where I take her for a walk next to the railroad tracks and the lake next to them.... I live like 5 miles away from my hometown so I'm still happy....

Yesterday I dug into the oil leaks on the Ranger, had to be the turbo on the passenger side since that's the only oil on that side... turns out the Turbonetics turbo I'm running with the clocking of the wastegate actuator was wearing into the drainback tube and put a little hole in that... so since there isn't a good option I'm moving onto high quality heater hose (double woven reinforcement so 3 layers of rubber) so that should last a while but I needed 2 45* fittings and it turns out there are none of those to be had on a weekend in the town I'm closest to... 5/8" hose barb by 1/2" NPT apparently isn't common... We have them at work but that doesn't help me on the weekend so I'll finish it in the dark tomorrow... also apparently the oil pan gasket shrunk since I put the engine in, most of the oil pan bolts were about a turn loose and 2 were missing... Today I added the two missing bolts and installed the one fitting I had, hopefully finish tomorrow night after work.

This past week was a rough one, but thanks to my Ranger we came out on top.
My wife had to have surgery, her car was in the body shop, and my second pickup was about to lose its exhaust, so we had to drive to Savannah in the 1983 2.3 Ranger. We stayed three days in Savannah, (ugh). My little Ranger chugged right along with the big boys on the interstate, showed out on the busy roads in Savannah, surrounded by fancy cars and high dollar trucks, and got us to the hospital and home again in comfort. I'm really proud of the little girl.

Hope it went well for your wife too.

My internet I was down for a little while so I couldn't reply to you nor post any of the recent stuff I did to my truck, also no I did not get a receiver yet money has been really tight lately so buying parts or other stuff has been out of the question a buddy of mine said he's got a job open the place he works at and I might try getting that job it's same pay rate I had over the summer so maybe I can start buying parts again for my truck.
Good luck on getting the new job. 👍

I sniff fuel for a living. Don't judge me!
I forgot to mention that the FX4 got a bath today as well since I got some mud on it from driving to and from the rifle range a couple of times. Oh, the .30-30 likes 150 grain Federal Non-Typical Whitetail best and hated Federal Fusion 150.

Was a long weekend helping my buddy get his Silverado to quit going into limp mode. After Checking the whole Ign-0 1020 circuit for shorts/opens, I'm convinced it's the Ign. switch. I know... Chevys, what are they thinking running all that power thru the ign switch? Nonetheless, it's a common problem. Either way, I did get around to finishing the modifications on the frame to create a tongue for the receiver. I'll post some pics when I remember to take some. It's always dark when that time comes around for me.

Probably the dreams of a super charged 2.9L has blurred your vision... just a guess though.
