Drove it and and filled the tank. Parked it in the driveway and pulled the FX4 out to the "Ready One" parking position with block heater, battery blanket, and oil pan heater plugged in. Drill this weekend...

Well I had plans of working on the truck yesterday but I ended up falling asleep early. Woke up at 2:30am and thought about fixing the brake line but it was 2:30 and I said EF THAT! Then I planned on fixing it this morning before work and that didn't happen either. I am not a morning person.... Plan is to fix the brake line today and hopefully (knock on wood) the truck will be ready to spank some 2.9 ass! HAHA
Dude....

Ill yank 2 plug wires and drain all the oil outta the pan and still smoke a 3.nogo.

Outstanding modification !!! Your mods are just too eyepopping to view in one sitting !!!
Who would have thought that putting black wheels on could change the whole personality of a Ranger.
Also, the addition of 2 fullsize doors to the rear make it look like a true crewcab !!!
I'm gonna go and paint my OE wheels black too. Maybe mine will look as good or even more gooder than yours.

I did more than that, Grumpy. My Ranger is now front wheel drive with IFS.

Hell I've probably only washed mine twice since I had it (2003)...
I do spray off the underside though, not that it helped much.

Drove mine like I stole it today. New plugs seem to have improved my ability to make noise. I'd say a tad less pinging and idle is still really smooth.

Likely your 2.9 has a couple that don’t fire anyway....

Mine get washed but I can't tell you if the 2011 ever got a hand wash or not. Detailing a vehicle is something I haven't had time to do in a long time. I'll keep them clean and the paint still shines but they won't win any competitions.

finally got my powermaster 5 weeks late. i installed it and run the fawk out of the truck and intentionally over heated it too.

pretty happy with it. dont make much of a difference cold...but fixed my hot start issues.

unfortunately... i did crack my frame slightly climbing up the knoll and slid off and hit a rock ledge full bore sideways...the noise was bad and the way i was wedged it was not wanting to steer.....

so. i got some welding to do. and bridging to make.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Love the wheels - exactly what I'd like to put on mine!
I saw these on an LMC truck catalogue I received a while back . I'm still waiting on the lug nuts so I can finish install . :headbang:

The previous owner was apparently a hunter . There are numerous scratches down the sides which aren't that bad and are polishing out . There are some that are pretty deep and don't come out , but they are shiny !!!!

You know a truly loved Ranger when you see the shiny deep gashes...

I had great intensions of a good wax job coming into winter... not enough hours in the day. The old Bird Dog will get washed today though... They dumped some serious salt last week. Crazy this early in the year.

The wheels are a true Classics.

I'd like to get a set of those with fatter Cooper Cobra GT's for the summer, and use the steelies with Wranglers for winter. That's not likely to happen any time soon though.
