I was goaded into using it in a rev battle with the secretary at work.

Her 2000 Jeep 4.0 straight six with 200,000 miles and crusty exhaust vs my 2011 4.0 with 100,000 miles and stock exhaust.
It was every bit as epic as you think it was.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Got gas this morning in the '97, still had 1/4 tank but grabbed some before it went up again... I've been driving with a lighter foot... now that it's warming up it's getting better mileage, this tank was 24.8mpg, last was like 23.8 but I'd done some hauling of pallets that have some drag... this gas mileage is welcome...

not for me
Wulf 3inch keys and 2 inch shackles, and the longer shocks, replaced every piece of steering and suspension in the front end. new brakes front and rear, complete replacement. Upgraded the speakers and just waiting to install the amps, not sure what sub to go with. i have some free 8 inch subs i was thinking about putting them under the seats but it might be worth to just get a 10 inch and build a small box to put on one of the jump seats.

Started adding more leafs to the leaf packs last night. Gained about 1-1.5” of lift. Hopefully that’s enough to handle the weight of all my hounds.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
8s under the seat really add a lot to the experience. Feels like a bigger speaker.

When I got my green Ranger, the previous owner pulled the jump seats and had this ridiculous huge box in behind the seats that even with the extended cab doors, he had to pull the passenger front seat to get it out. I built a custom narrow box that sits on the ledge in the back of the cab and stops below the rear window and put a pair of 12” Rockford Fosgate P-2 subs in. Worked great and didn’t kill the space behind the front seats. Think I want to try stuffing it with polyfill and see what that does, but I managed about 1.4 something cubic foot per chamber with it.

I'm sorry... I know I'm old. But for the life of me I just can't figure out why anyone would need that much sound power in the cab of a Ranger.

I’m with you on that! When I was 18 I thought it was cool because chicks dig it. But now I’m all about being as quiet as I can get it.

If I learned from my mistakes, I'd be a genius !!
I'm a drummer and run a Rockford Fosgate 500W Monoblock into a 12" P-2. I learn songs by actually hearing the kick and feeling it. You can't pick up all the notes through dinky 6.5" door or rear speakers. I'm obviously used to loud music and you get spoiled listening to inferior sounding systems....just my opinion. Donald Fagan I.G.Y. cranked up....so clean and one of my all time favorite songs.
