My credo
Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Notice: The Rag works great partially covering the license plate, no more red light and speed light camera tickets. When u go through one of those cameras here in NY, it takes a photo of your rear plate only. Eat your heart out NYC Camera Program. I literally saved $100's so far... We have over 600 cameras here in Staten Island, it's atrocious, and it's not just schools, they are everywhere. I'm cool around school zones, but after that the road is all mine.

Just maybe you shouldn't run red lights. Hey there's a thought. Could care less about the speed cameras.

It occurred to me when I saw SgtSandman's picture above: I'll bet some of you would just love to have a tilt-bed conversion for your Rangers.
Some of us would like to have that straight side bed conversion. :)

Spent yesterday trying to figure out why my fuel pump was inop I got it running but I’m not real sure what the fix was. Fuse checked ok. So did the inertia switch. Checked the pump connection and the wiring. Everything looked good. The fuse had some brown gunk on the pins. So, changed that out and rechecked the inertia switch. It fired right up.

I had the same similiar issue with my 95 Honda Accord EX. My mechanic had changed everything out. A New Fuel Pump, A New Fuel Relay etc, and still had fuel pump intermittent issues. The ECU was the culprit. I purchased a new ECU and it worked flawlessly after that. I did the repair myself my mechanic asked how I fixed it. I told him I learned about this issue on a Honda forum, he was amazed.

ok, here's a pic of yesterdays shenanigans'... Not sure why the "check susp" light wasn't on, it's almost always on... the air shocks are shot... For reference the trailer deck is 20' long and around 18" sides... I don't think I've taken a pic of my sweet wheel combo... deer hooves up front and Jeep out back with 5mm spacers :), tires are aired down from snow months ago so it towed like crap on the way to my brothers...

At that particular point in time, a tilt bed would have been a huge benefit.

That was the route I was going to look at next if swapping the fuse hadn’t worked. I had remembered from one of the South Main Auto Channel videos where the fuse was the fix. Similar situation. The fuse looked fine other than some schmutz on the pins.

Oddly enough I have run into where a fuse isn’t blown but also isn’t letting things work correctly. It’s rare, but it can happen.

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
Well that is taking a tilt bed to the extreme especially to change a fuel pump.
Hey man, it was the 90's. Everything was "taking it to the extreme".

So I talked to the machine shop this morning, they said my parts should be in early this next week, so I’ll be hopefully be able to get back to getting the green Ranger together. Really getting anxious to try this beast out.
