Soil prices went up from 140 a 12 yard dump truck to 250 a truck so I put off getting another truck load, even though they are can easily take another load or two to be back to smooth

Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you.
Installed The Yosemite Sam Mud Flaps Today. I had to Jury Rig them though. They weren't the correct fit and I only used 2 bolts instead of the usual 3. It will work.

Notice: The Rag works great partially covering the license plate, no more red light and speed light camera tickets. When u go through one of those cameras here in NY, it takes a photo of your rear plate only. Eat your heart out NYC Camera Program. I literally saved $100's so far... We have over 600 cameras here in Staten Island, it's atrocious, and it's not just schools, they are everywhere. I'm cool around school zones, but after that the road is all mine.

Removed the tall front sway bar mounts and put energy suspension bushings in there place!! Handles way better having the sway bar at the proper location! And of course hit some twistys and a dirt road!

I have something similar, my trailer plug is hanging over my plate in the same manner.

I'm retired from The NYPD. All the cops here let us go all the time when we show our ID. They give us full courtesy. No questions asked,,,, unless there's a crime involved, drunk driving etc. Then naturally, there's no courtesy extended.

I may install my recent purchase of a FlowMaster FX Muffler this weekend. Weather permitting.

I left the tranny in. it's still attached to the cross member, front is at normal height.
there is plenty of room to get the 2 upper bell housing bolts if you use a 30" extension with wobble socket.
go over the tranny, you will have to work blind and put the socket on the bolts by feel, from under the bell housing.

the bolt behind the pass side exhaust manifold can be accessed with a 24" extension & wobble socket going over the motor mount, between the AC/ALT bracket & block.

AC is still intact too.

Are you rebuilding that engine, or do you have another one ready to go?

The '97 drug me to work and back, but my brother sent me a text this afternoon if he could borrow me and a trailer this evening... weather has been really stupid this spring so he hasn't been able to do much farm stuff... he needed to be able to mulch the strawberries so he cut some rye or something with the mower conditioner we fixed up a couple weeks ago, then he drug around the forage chopper while I drug my 20' trailer behind the '00 Explorer... low range first gear... put about half an acre of 4' tall grass on the trailer... I'll see about getting the picture up tomorrow...

Spent yesterday trying to figure out why my fuel pump was inop I got it running but I’m not real sure what the fix was. Fuse checked ok. So did the inertia switch. Checked the pump connection and the wiring. Everything looked good. The fuse had some brown gunk on the pins. So, changed that out and rechecked the inertia switch. It fired right up.

It occurred to me when I saw SgtSandman's picture above: I'll bet some of you would just love to have a tilt-bed conversion for your Rangers.
Someday it is going to happen to my ranger based pickup box trailer...
