My credo
Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you.
I took off that nasty Custom Ranger Decal I put on the tailgate last week. It looked too busy. Today I removed the stock mud flaps and outlined the Ranger lettering with a Sharpie Oil Based Paint Pen. Photos enclosed of the Ranger Tailgate Decal that I removed and the mud flaps I just outlined.

This is the ruff job. It came out much better with second coat and black outlining to detail the letters better..

My ‘02 has OEM mud flaps and a 4/5 drop... I’m slowly wearing them down on every bump. ;missingteeth;

BOOYA! I have to laugh. We went to two junkyards today and got two very good doors.

Both yards were pretty crowded. We don't always see people but we hear them all around us, mostly grunting, an occasional bang and clatter. Sometimes people even swear.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a man yells out, "Booya!"

Everybody laughed. We all know the feeling. It's when you search forever for your own rusty but trusty. You find nothing, nothing, nothing. Then all at once the part! THE PART! It's maybe even 20 years old but it's in great condition. It's perfect.

Booya! That wonderful feeling. It's PULLING TIME!

I bought a flair side Ranger Edge last year and slowly but surely restored it one thing at a time. A friend helped me with the hard stuff, but along the way, he got to liking mine so much that he bought an older flair side Ranger Edge too. Now, as a favor, I'm helping him with his. I gotta say I'm having even more fun watching his come together., especially because I've learned so much along the way.

These little trucks are a common sight on our American highways. They are no exotic, certainly not the biggest or the best, but somehow or another, they still exude a certain special charm which just can't be denied.

My wife found a show and shine in Omaha this weekend she wants to take our trucks to.

So after work I take her out to supper and hit the car wash.

It rained all day so I sneaked down our sloppy gravel road in low at 6mph trying to keep it clean.

I pull up the driveway to find this.

Apparently a little kid wanted to go offroading... so she took him through my bean field.

It's pretty much just in the wheel wells. Even after I took it down our road to blow the mud out of the tires.

Managed to round out one of the Mevotech camber cams for the a-arm. Still have the stock camber bolts to mix and match. Inner tie rods are giving me trouble. Not even the special tool is getting it loose. A pair of vice grips might work... or maybe a torch. found some more rust spots hiding behind the fender liner to treat. Using some JDM bumper quick release cams I found on eBay to secure the grill to the fender. Looking JDM tyte yo.

My credo
Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
Are these going to be available to the rest of us?
I will be making the .stl available in a bit. I'm working on a big package of a few bushings and stuff I'll release all at once when its ready.

Today I decided to finally fix my radio. I broke the ribbon cable off it a long time ago investigating tape noise. I'm not that great at soldering and typically hand that off to someone else to do! :p
