Took the '97 with a small trailer to do truck stuff, with the current gas prices it was the most economical between me and my brother... he had gotten some stuff from an online auction about 30 miles away (one of them a Ditch Witch trencher, had to be 500 lb with the 9hp propane Wisconsin engine on it...), then while over there picked up some stuff from my buddies house that I loaned him last year (jumping jack compactor, chain harrow, spike harrow and yard roller). The ol 2.3L didn't like accelerating to highway speed, but it's nice having the two piston calipers on the front brakes...

Confirmed the water leaks were fixed in the cap for the 2019 while driving it to the Cleveland area in the rain yesterday. All fixed. Just need to address a slight leak that I think is coming from around the tailgate. The new Rangers don’t come with the rubber flaps that seal off the bed around the tailgate sides like the older Rangers did.

I may detail my rear splash guards with white paint. Says Ranger on them, but you can't really see it.
I did this to mine and it really dresses up the rear. I used a tire marker to turn the Ranger white against the black mud flaps.

Cool, Is the tire marker a white paint pen?

Yes, although the paint is different than a standard paint pen.
I just saw a medium point white Sharpie oil based paint pen at Michaels for $5.00. I think I'm gonna grab it tomorrow and highlight my Ranger mudflaps with it.. Thanks

Changed the oil in the '97 tonight, I think I even did it when I meant to? It's just before 180k, I think I did it at 175k last time? would help if I wrote it down somewhere...

Just remembered I bought some wood glue at the store on the way home, might go screw on the lid to the center console on the '90 here in a bit...

I put gas in mine.

Some of you may think that’s not a big deal, but I rarely drive it. I drive it so little in fact, that I didn’t even put gas in it last year. So yes, it’s actually a big deal.

I drive my trucks so much, I’ll go through 2 full tanks in a day, sometimes.

I bought this Ranger after some kid ran into the back of my ‘17 f150 and it took over 6 months for Ford to get the parts to fix it. It didn’t cost much, it’s cheap to fix, and I have a ‘20 F150 as a daily driver. I’ll keep it around as a backup vehicle until it rots to the ground... then I’ll buy another one.

Roll bar project is kicking my ass. First I broke the windshield wrestling the main hoop in the cab for a trial fit then I had to cut through multiple layers to make the holes for the main hoop legs which had to go as far back as possible to make room for my 300 lb carcass LOL. Finally got it in place and temporarily held in with ratchet straps and zip ties while I engineered the frame standoffs.

Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
Buddy of mine has access to a Formlabs printer... I'm working on getting a snug fit on my transfer case linkage to solve popping out of 4hi.
