My credo
the grey-t escape
I tore apart my front end to do ball joints, rusty mess and I have a radius arm that’s getting pretty thin. Havent gone about removing the old ball joints yet, this was my 2nd project of the day, The 1st project was putting a backup camera setup in the escape, it was a christmas present i had forgotten about but she didnt- so I started it about 10 am and finished up about 3. It works but im really not a fan, the best thing I can say about it is that it could be helpful lining up when I back up to a trailer. This setup uses a new mirror with a built in monitor, put it in reverse and you have a picture. First try of it I had the camera upside down. Hopefully she likes it, was a pain to put in.

I had one of those with the monitor in the mirror. I absolutely hated it. The camera wasn't as clear as the mirror so it just made things worse when the camera came on. I eventually just put a manual switch to turn the camera on when I wanted it so it didn't come on automatically when in reverse.

Yes, but I don't have smoke machine. Any suggestions?
Got this on eBay, just came in, I’m going to try it with a stogie tomorrow on the 87 towncar.

I picked up my wheel spacers with the 97 Red Ranger yesterday. I’m going to put them on the Mark V tomorrow to see if they’ll get rid of the tire rub, they’re 1.5 inch and right now I have two inches on it. They’re jeep adapters that I had to have the center bore opened up. Pictures tomorrow

Why did you not just get a short center console! You probably could have sold that one, bought a short one, and still had money left over!

Its came from my donor expo so free, started with little trimming, trying to let shifter poke through, trimming... well progressed. There are dozens of those consoles at my local junk yard. I would like to find a console from a explorer sport manual. With arm rest that always breaks

Red Ranger and F-150 got put to work again. Hauled a load of steel scrap after finishing loading the F-150 yesterday and a buddy drove the red Ranger up with my aluminum can scrap. Then it was more work on the tractor and my property.

Today the red Ranger is going to take me to do a little project, fetch some parts, and hopefully run me out to pick up tires and rims for my GF’s car and then out to her.

My back and hip, however, have not been amused by my antics lately

What is scrap paying there? I get a fair amount of both aluminum and steel.

Well I’d like to say I washed my Ranger. But after 2.5 hrs of dig mud out and pressure washing. I’ll settle for get most of the mud off.

Reminded me why I love my truck for trails but not so much for mud. There are a dozen mud scoop built into the front end.
