tightened shifter stick, again, like 17th time already. time for a new plan i guess. i have a hurst shifter stick on a stock t5 shifter, holes are larger than bolts, i improvised with some random door hinge bushings and locktite. no good. screws still loosened. sloppy stick=crappy shifts

I ran 1/4” bolts all the way through mine with split lock washers, IIRC

Floyd took me to get my free Krispy Kreme donut and coffee with friends.

of course....

Brake lights quit. They have been a bit iffy.

Took the switch off the brake rod, (the one activated by pressing brake pedal). Cleaned it good with crc put it back on and presto I have brake lights.

Wonderful position you have to get into to do that job. Half way on your back with your feet out the door, nothing for support your body.

My favorite working under the dash, just pulled whole pedal assembly out 3 times situating the clutch travel for the t5, probably going to have to do it one more time.

Nothing today but, tomorrow it's getting Katzkin Leather interior. Shop called Friday. Can't wait:yahoo: Get rid of that awful black burlap and grey. This is my 7th Ranger and by far the worst seat material.

Mine was done in an hour or so. I used existing bolt holes to mount a pedal stop that I made from a small piece of angle iron. Hasn't moved or been an issue in thousands of miles and TONS of rough driving. I need to get a picture so I can show others how I managed it.

I used stock pedal, trimmed for a lil more travel, f550 master, moderndriveline sn95 external slave kit. Still a slight grind going into reverse, suspect I need just a lil more travel or bleeding, going to attempt reverse bleeding using a syringe kooked to slave bleeder and force air backwards to reservoir.

The boxer puppy didn't work out... it was a friend of a friend that had them and they just fell of the face of earth over the weekend. Wife was broken hearted so I found Beagle pups in Southern Illinois.

So last night at about 7 I took off on about an eight hour road trip and hauled back my new best buddy... Goober.

Got home and in bed by 4am... he got me up at 6:15am. He already dumped on the floor... threw up his entire breakfast... and figured it was time for a nap. It's rough being a puppy!

Looking at his markings... he might turn out to be a bone head.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
