Used the sploder to rearrange the trailer situation in the shop, moved the boat I was trying to get rid of out of the way, drug my new tool box to the driveway and got it off the trailer (interesting with just an engine hoist... tool box casters were 1/4" too short to clear the hoist legs...) and into the garage temporarily. I moved the '97 out of the way in the driveway and looked at the '90 but didn't physically touch it...

Working on finishing up the factory alloy wheel centers w/an added touch. Not chrome of course, but they sure look good against the aluminum.
Compliments to Krylon & junkyard steering wheel emblems.

Did some MS1 V3 tuning. Discovered my thermostat had become weak ( I wonder how that is possible when all it did was sit for years on end) so it made doing some of the tuning more difficult because it wouldn't get to temp. Then discovered my blower motor resistor was quite corroded. Have these fixed tomorrow for some more tuning. Really running good, even with the antiquated MS1.

Was last night but towed a 2001 Taurus on a car dolly down to my house so I could help a friend and change out the radiator. Truck pulled over 4000lbs without issue and I'm pretty proud of that.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

According to Google a 2001 Taurus depending on configuration has a curb(dry) weight of 3,355 to 3,519 lbs. According to U-Haul's website their car dolly weighs in at 750 lbs. Vehicle had fluids and a trunk full of junk so that puts me at 4k plus on the tow.
