Had a bad day yesterday. Battery went out cuz alternator killed it and then alternator went out so I had to replace it. Then today my tire got a nasty couple bulges so had to replace it today....so now I owe my grandfather like 300 dollars. Great...been doing yard work for barely enough to pay for a tank of gas so not looking forward to paying him back. But I'm happy to have a good tire and a truck that will actually crank over now.
It sucks, but your Ranger can help pay for itself. Besides yard work, you can look around your areas (or put an ad in Craiglslist/check their free section) for metal junk to take to the recycle center/ scrap yard. (RecycleIt looks to be close to you) Washers, driers, old bikes, BBQ grilles can all be turned in for fast cash.

I think it looks pretty good... more importantly... how does it ride?
Thanks.. It doesn’t ride too bad. I have to remove the wheel well liners and modify the rear bump stops.

I hear CHAZ is an option now as well.
I fully support Operation Homeless.
We should give the CHAZ some real responsibility feed the needy, let them create jobs, lol they will go back to their moms basement before to long.

Found a guy with a used pair of dropped Belltech I-beams for sale so now we have to figure out the best way to get them from Massachusetts to Nova Scotia. Canadian dollar is crap right now so there's no way I can afford a new set of DJM beams.

Very true very true. In the sea of madness that is my life right now I have seem to found peace. Especially coming here to see who's done what to their rigs. Sadly my ranger has gotten to yugo cars state of reliability. But thankfully it actually started the second turn of the key and my buddy were actually able to launch my canoe today. I also screwed around with my radio settings again sounds much better. Life goes on.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Found out that Installing my 1" coil spacers is going to require ruining the shocks on my truck (stem end.. salt belt..nuff said) Also found a couple tears on my upper bj boots. So to get revenge on my stupid truck I ordered some bilstein 4600s, camber bolts, and upper control arms.

Today I continued my quest to get the bloody thing to behave right proper for once so I don't have to fiddle with it anymore. Fixed a rich mix CEL by correctly putting the cold start warm up loop in the air box back together correctly. Also cleaned out the PCV valve and fixed a small vacuum leak. No more CEL... for now.

Yesterday I hauled an edger, cement mixer, some plywood and some gardening tools to my house from my mom's... general truckery and daily driving is what my '97 does best... need to take the F350 to town in the next couple days and get a pallet of quickcrete...

Removed the racks from the 2019 to slick it up for the Texas trip. We’ll be wanting the best mpg the thing can get. We’ll be visiting the girlfriend’s sister near Huston, if I remember my geography correctly. Humble with a silent “H”.

The agenda will be set by the ladies, so no idea if meeting with forum members are in the allowed time schedule. Anyway, should be there Thursday and leaving Wednesday (I think).

My credo
I poop in the furnace.
Drove it to the dump. Went back to the piles of free mulch and found a woman and her daughter filling the trunk of their oldsmobile to the brim. She had backed the bumper right into the pile (these piles are 20-30 feet high). When she went to leave with an overflowing trunk the car wouldn't budge. The weight of all the mulch had jammed the back of the car into the pile, when she tried to move she caused a landslide and practically burried the back of the car. I laughed for a bit as dropped off all my trash but it was hotter than hell and no one else was around so I went over and helped pull her car off the pile with the ranger. I helped clean the car off a bit and suggested she unload at least half of the mulch in her trunk for safety. As I was leaving I saw her behind me at the gates, muffler dragging through the dirt, mulch spilling out everywhere...
