I always used to but kinda gave it up when I started road tripping. It is hard to find on the road.

E10 used to be the cutoff for requiring flex fuel. Then the government told automakers E15 is ok going back to 01 or whatever.
Pretty much everything offered around here is E10, with a few exceptions. There are a few chains that offer E85. Sheetz is the only one I know of off hand but I'm sure there are others. I just don't look for it. E15 is not common but stands out like a sore thumb when it's offered. Straight gas is almost nonexisitent.

which is funny, cause I really really looked for better charger and that is a chinese knockoff.
(I have a 40 year old sears one -schumacher brand- that wont charge when it claims the battery is "charged" and it is starting to think everything is charged.)

anyhow, sidestory over, I researched a TON of chargers, that looks exactly like an EAFC brand, but amazon says the brand is RCGCBC - which looks like a chinese cat walked over the keyboard when they were picking names for the "amazon store" and "brand".

I did the research on the one I tried to link to. Several people around the net had success with it for charging and maintaining boat batteries. I've had mine about 6 months and it's repaired several batteries for me and charged a few too. It's still running on the Ranger battery.

I pushed in the clutch pedal and turned the ignition about 10 times just to hear the click of the starter relay again on the '90... I'd much rather it start so I can drive it to at least gravel so I can change the starter but apparently I get to do it in the grass... at least I have a starter for it, I'm sure it's just a stuck brush or two or dirty armature, I'll fix it and keep as a spare... I might even go as far as put jumper cables on the new one for a couple minutes just to break in the brushes to make sure it works with as much as the thing sits...

Never put off ‘til tomorrow what you can put off indefinitely
Before you try to change it out in the dirt, try rapping it with a hammer lightly, but firmly, two or three times, and then try starting the truck again. That has got me home on many an occasion….

I've pondered that but don't want to break the magnets... I might give it a try but I've been thinking if I crawl down there I might as well take a 15mm and 3/8" wrench with me and just change the starter while laying on a piece of cardboard, it's a whole 3 bolts and one nut and I don't even have to disconnect the battery...

Forgot to update. Charger seems to have recovered the battery in the Strangler that was testing as bad. It corrected a rough uneven idle I was having too. The battery still can't take a full cold cranking amp load like new but it no longer struggles to start the truck. I will replace it after we get through all these freezing temps. I have other vehicles I can drive if the battery craps out completely. I have the second battery from my van ('07 E150) stashed in the truck along with jumper cables should I need to give the truck a quick sniff of electrons to get it glowing again.

I thought 90 already had battery power at the starter? I wouldn't wanna take the wire loose with it live.

Mine definitely doesn't, don't know if that was part of the mid model year change that mine is on the early side of but I don't think that changed until the starter relay moved to the drivers side...

My 92 has a starter relay on the passenger fender although I want to say it just relays the 12 volt start signal and doesn’t have the 4-gauge attached to it. Seemed kinda weird to wire it like that.
