Well, I got the garage frame loose yesterday after some work with a 9” grinder, winch, and 12# persuader (sledgehammer). Ran the grinder on what I could get to (man, that’s a workout and no wonder some job sites have banned the use of 9” ones and limit you to 7”, which mine has the guards for both, Milwaukee FTW). Then I started using the winch to get tension and the BFH to persuade it to move. Took a lot of screwing around, couple moves to the truck, little bit of Hi-Lift jack work, but it moved. Hopefully I can get the frame down today. Then, I’m going to be overdue for a rest period. Can’t wait until I can actually handle working full duty again, this only being able to handle 4-6 hours with rest periods at a go and 3-4 days in a row makes it hard to make any progress.

Gave it a good pressure washing at the local car wash.

10 minutes of the soap, 10 minutes of rinse.

All sorts of new found chips and scratches -__- 25k miles is a lot for the crap paint on new vehicles apparently.

Even after all that washing it wasn't clean enough though.. so went and bought some bug&tar remover and some chemical guys quick detailer. Might get around to that tomorrow.

Today I changed the condenser on my a/c



Not sure how this happened


Looks to me like it was hit on the back side.
I'd say it happened when motor was changed.

It's all put back together, pulled a vaccum going to let it sit over see if a have any leaks.

on a side note I think it's time to do some cleaning

It was there when I bought this place 4 years ago. The beam I mean. I have no plans on removing it.
Work great for removing box from truck. I run 2 straps corner to corner hook them in the middle and it lifts off easily.

Been driving mine all week since the car has a death rattle coming from the engine/transmission. Today I used the tailgate as a workbench to cut a landscape timber for a center support of the chicken kennel for a roof tarp. Not so much for rain but some shade & keep them out of sight from the occasional hawk I sometimes see in the area.

Soon as I can finish up getting this garage hauled home, I can start back to work on the green Ranger. Finally got the frame for the garage down yesterday

I replaced my leaking 5000 mile a/c compressor- 3 months after the warranty expired. I bought it while building the truck so the clock was running down while I finished the build. It's supposed to be humid and in the 90's this week but once I get it recharged we'll probably have 2 weeks of 70's. I'll call that a win.

Took dog to vet. Never got anything built in the back, but just having the jump seats out makes for plenty of room. I think she likes riding in the truck, more than in a car, doesn't fuss so much.
