they just look higher class.

kids aren't even taught to read analog in school anymore. like cursive, the schools feel its useless, i guess. had to show my kids how to read analog clocks, write in cursive, and use an analog meter on the cars/trucks

i like analog clocks in vehicles. to me, it looks better than the digital ones on the radio or other places they put them now days
I agree. Adds a nice touch to the rest of the gauges & the dash.

when the wife and i are bored we go test drive cars we will never buy, like high end bmws and those types of cars. the analog clocks look really nice in those cars and always reminded me the ones in the old 3 series cars i have owned previously. all electronic interior and that nice looking analog clock just spinning away the time.

Citizens Bank has recently enacted a policy that they will reject any check that is filled out in cursive.

At least that is what they told my wife when she asked why they kept bouncing her check when there was clearly money in the account.

I’ve tried to figure out why this is, but I can barely read most people’s cursive. I guess I was in high school during the conversion from written to typed becoming the standard, but I simply cannot decipher most cursive. I can sit there and study it, have people explain it to me, and simply cannot make out individual letters.

What's the worst that could happen?
I used to fly a lot and do crosswords. So printing in all caps worked really great. Because of that, my cursive is connected caps instead of weird Z's and F's and Q's - I know there shouldn't be an apostrophe there but I don't care ATM. '

All we had on the classroom walls was analog. No need to teach, kids will figure it out by watching it all day.

It really surprised me the number of people that can't tell time with an analog clock. We time food using an analog clock and 80% of the people we hire have no clue.

People don’t take pride in their penmanship. That’s why you can’t read it. At one time, poor penmanship was very much frowned upon.
