Have some help you when you put the liner on. It's a two person job.

The head liner in my honda last year, which was also my first time, it turned out fairly decent but has far more contours than a ranger. Watch some utube tutorials. Just work slowly and only apply glue in 4-6in sections at a time one end to the other, make sure to leave enough material to wrap over edges

what kind of fabric did you get? The only definitive description I’ve found of what headliner fabric is, is something thick enough to not get saturated by the glue and causing discoloration on the visible side. “Foam-backed” cloth is supposed to be the best at playing nice with the glue.

I’m out of my wheel house here but I think many headliners have a type of felt or a heavy cloth so the fabric doesn’t get saturated by the glue.

Did half at a time. Did the front half first starting in the middle. Sprayed the glue on a half at a time also.

I just got some cheap thin fabric, almost identical to what i pulled off. The glue bled through a couple spots but its much better than it was.

Here it is laid out and glued down

i rolled the front over but didnt think to leave enough to roll the back over. For some reason i thought i had a trim peice that covered it. Anyway heres the finished product

The foam under the old stuff wasnt in good shape so all things considered im happy with it. Used dang near that whole can of headliner glue so hopefully it doesnt start sagging anytime soon. Im gonna let the glue dry then ill update once its back in the truck and put together.
