built, not bought
I used to have a triple set of 12v outlets run off the lighter circuit. radar detector, cell phone charger & a garmin. Never had any issues.

@Dirtman has had some issues in the past with spilled/spewed clam chowder in his vehicle. Also dead chicken if I recall correctly.

Wasn’t there a fish oil spill too?
