Jesus... what do they do to the roads wherever you live where that happens? Never seen that in maine.

Kansas/Missouri country roads paved with chipseal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipseal. Must have hit a fresh patch of oil.
Aah alright. There are a couple roads by me that have been treated like that, however.. we must use way more "chips" up here because I drove down them shortly after application and there was no indication that there was a big layer of goop underneath.

What did you use to remove it? I'm fighting tree sap at the house. The turtle wax bug and tar remover dont budge it. I hate that damn cypress tree. It hammers my truck.
Best way I’ve found to get off sap is to wait for it to dry and use a razor blade. Could try googone though.

They tend to do more chip than tar here too. Better to sand blast all that nasty paint under your vehicle.

I'm not sure, I paid to get it detailed. I needed it cleaned off asap and I was afraid of messing up the paint so I just let a pro do it. I saw lots of recommendations to use wd40 but I think he used a professional product

Tonight I learned that if you mash the gas at an on-ramp leaving @sgtsandman 's house the back tire will break loose at 35 mph when the turbo spools up and gets on the boost. Good times. :icon_hornsup:

Why were you fleeing @sgtsandman's house in the middle of the night?! Do we need to alert the authorities?

If you're an optimist.. that's free undercoating....

Back to reality.. Your truck looks awesome. That's the color I wanted but we couldn't find one here in Colorado.
Thanks. I'm very partial to orange vehicles. I've had two 2000 rangers in the orange/Mandarin Gold Metallic color. I knew as soon as I saw the revamped 2019 Rangers I would be getting one in Saber color at any cost.

Only other thing I really want to change would be adding a widebody kit but doesn't seem they make for supercab 2019 rangers

Our Ranger got rear ended yesterday.... in a construction zone. I was stopped, a flagman 1 car ahead standing on the road with a stop sign.

I look in the rear view mirror and here comes a Subaru. The millennial girl driving isn't looking out the windshield, she's looking down toward the floor... well until a second before she hit us.

Thank goodness we weren't on a motorcycle... and that Ms. Subaru wasn't the 1st car in line and ran over the construction worker.

She tells the State Patrol "I had both feet on the brake"... Really?

Minimal damage, she hit our factory installed hitch. But the bumper is pushed in on the drivers side and the hitch "snout" is bent toward the drivers side. And her Texas license plate white paint is on the bumper. Update: Ended up being a $1,300 repair bill.

She was cited... she should have her license taken away.
