My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Am I the only one who also enjoys this kind of music?

My radio went out 5 or 6 years ago, can't remember exactly, only got it replaced recently when digging around in a Pickers wrecking yard. Stations are sparse here, Tx or Ok side, but both FM bands have stations set, even though some are the same ones, and AM has 2 old country ones that don't always come in at all.
I am in a constant struggle pushing the buttons trying to find anything that's even worth listening to. It wasn't easy for me even when there were some good stations that sometimes played some good tunes. I like mostly old country and old rock and roll, but now I might find one or two a week I consider worth listening to ;)

I'll bet there was plenty of tunes out here ( Toin it up! )

You should be able to pick up AM stations 150 to 200 miles away. FM stations from 30 to 60 miles away. I don't think more stations is the answer to your problems. I can pick up stations from two major radio markets (San Francisco and Sacramento) and three smaller markets. There still isn't anything worth listening to. On FM 70% of it is either rap/hip hop or that crappy pop dominated by auto-tune vocals. The rest is Spanish. AM is dominated by syndicated right-wing propaganda and Spanish. Not a single rock station. Well, there's one that claims they're a rock station, but half their programming is somewhat hip hop. I hate hip hop.
