Help....I an seeing a hook on the floor for something related to a floor mat. With 100 million choices, I'm looking for the "correct" type that uses that hook. Any ideas? Please, no cute comments regarding tweety bird floormats. Weathertech (made in USA) prices will cut into my center console project, and many others. -Doug

My credo
I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
Go to web site, Ford Parts Giant.com. Punch in make/model/year and follow menu to body/floor/floor carpet.
I found part # 4L5Z-1613086-BAB....might be what your looking for....Ford OE NOS parts.
Or you can just google up that part # and a bunch of sites and Ford dealers come up with it still available. Don't know what color so you might have to do some searching.

Again, Thank You Sir. By clicking on the item the FoMoCo part number shows up, then I simply highlight it, copy & paste into a new search bar and now I have a million options.

Thanks Jim. Yea, I seem to support my local Ford dealership inadvertently for the most part. Only when the F150 parts go bad. However I never thought of the floor mats. Lets see, if I put that Ford part number on my Christmas list.....I won't get a set of Tweety Bird floormats! Currently I'm working on getting the center console installed.

I just ordered a set, they were for 04-up FX4 but fit just fine in my '03. 4L5Z-1013086-A. I don't know if the -A suffix means much compared to -BAB. I am in Philly so I ordered from a NJ dealership:

I bought mats like that on eBay several years ago just like that at a much reduced cost. They have held up as well as the original floor mats that came with my 02 FX4 when new.

You can also order them from Tasca parts if you want. I've had good luck ordering them from them.

I took my originals and store them in the box that my Husky Liners came in. Husky liners went for about 80 bucks for the front set years ago, and have taken about 10 years of abuse and still work just fine. They move a little bit, but I am satisfied with them. It keeps any water in the mat until the floor heat evaporates it. Hopefully less floorpan rust.

Thanks guys for the replies. I will investigate these. I hope that the hook on the floor will be used. - Doug
