westin brush gaurd compatability

i was just going to ask if a 2004 Ranger westin brush gaurd would fit on a 2000 ford ranger. I found one on craigslist for 100 bucks which is a steal. I just want to make sure it would fit on a 2000 ranger without any extra fab work. Thanks in advance!

It should. I have a 2000ish Bull Bar on my 1994. The only thing I had to do was fabricate some adapter brackets. But you should need to seeing as they are about the same frame wise.

i thought it would just bolt right on, cause i know the front clips are interchangeable so i just figured the brush gaurd would probably just bolt right on. Only problem is no mounting hardware, i assume its just bolts though....

If I remember correctly it was only 13mm bolts....

ok, i assume it mounts to the frame up under the bumper? am i going to have to drill any holes?

ok cool. I'm debating whether or not i should get it with work being so iffy but its such a good deal i don't know if i can not buy it. If i do get it i'll post some pics.

on second thought in the picture it almost looks like it mounts in the tow hook area. Here is a link let me know what you think. I don't want to get anything thats going to take custom fab work but if it would go on easy enough i'd consider it.

i know, in the pic it looks like it mounts to the factory tow hooks, but the lady said when her husband took it off that it mounted under the bumper and used bolts already in place to mount with, they say it has no brackets.

Im pretty sure it mounts to where the factory tow hooks mount... you just remove the tow hooks and bolt the bull bar on.
