Agreed. It's been a long time since I read the story, but IIRC, the trailer was a Bronco that was totalled - so he used it as a trailer.

Panama, if you think that's bad.... the same article has a 4X4 65 Mustang (sin) and a trailer that used TWO back sections of 65 Mustangs (double sin). I'm not at home, or I'd post a pic of that tragedy.

1.875", 2" and 2.513" are the only ones I have heard of... I haven't heard of any universial hitches either unless he will switch them for you like he will the color.

There used to be a guy that came to our car show that made a similar trailer for his Edsel, it looked pretty neat.

You know that will become a rebody for some rusted out Bronco. Still, it's a shame it was sacrificed and at $4400, it's way too much for what it is.
