well everyone says how weak dana 30's are.
mind you i wheeled mine HARD on 33's and then allwinter on 37's (without failure). but aparently they cant hold up to direct impacts with rocks at high speeds.

I hope all these pics work here's a try.

imediatly after the axle broke it vered HARD to the right.

yeah d30's are stronger than they get credit for if you have some sense... but yeah, looks like that one sucked..

i believe his had somthing to do with retubing the axle.

the rocks are in the first pic right where the tree line on the trail is. shade to sunlight area

i would just replace it -it seemed to do good til ya bashed it,right? what would the upgrade be a 44 ? they seem very expensive though-i really like the grand cherokees with the roof racks-they look so DAKTARI!

I'M not doing anything with it as my truck is just fine. this is a buddies jeep.

I allready upgraded to fullwidth 44/9 and 37's
