Hmmm,,, I couldn't remember the name of the original but sounds the same to me. The old one is like 30+ years old now. Guess the new one is more betterer.

Probably all the equipment and
"spacey vehicles" will be made with thousands and thousands of parts all made by manufacturers who submitted the lowest bid.
Most likely will have "Made in China" stamped on the parts.

Other than the satellite fleet and the occasional rocket, I'm still struggling to see the logic on a separate space force at this point in time unless there is a secret fleet of space shuttles squirreled away somewhere.

NASA was founded in 58 for all U.S non military space activities. We have had a military space agency of one form or another since 1915. The last one was space command and technically a branch of the air force. They ran norad, missile defense systems, spy satellites etc. The new "space force" is going to do the same thing just rebranded.

There is no logical reasoning behind this change except for someone wanting to say "I invented space force". And only one person alive has an ego so big he needs THAT title...

Somehow, someway it has something to do with some folks who are already rich getting a lot richer. Because that’s the only reason anything happens in this country anymore. If you can’t see the connection in some particular case, it’s just because you’re not part of that scheme.
