I thought this was pretty cool. On warn's winch site the front picture is of a pre-runner Ranger with their new ZEON winch. I saw an ad in a couple of magazines with the same picture too.

Yea, I saw that add not too long ago. Warn is great..just a bit too high. But I bought my last one that was a 1 year old 9,000 lb. series for under $350 for my 06 Wrangler. It works great and has lots of power...just needed to add a bigger battery....lol

I didn't think they were too bad. $899 for a 10K one (plus shipping and/or tax), or $1,150 for the 10K with synthetic rope and hawse fairlead.

Lookie dat...

Got my 8k for about $650. Works like a charm. Winching gets to be a production after a while though.

That Ranger looks pretty bad ass. Wish you could see more of it.

the way i see it on winches is if you pay top dollar on a warn you could have bought 3 cheaper ones yes but then again what is the warranty plan or how long are the cheaper ones gonna last vs a warn

From what I've read of the chinese winches, I would be on my 3rd one already... so yeah, it's worth the money.
