00 5.0 explorer motor in my 95 with the 4r70w trans and a 1345 tcase... I go it in. But fitment is terrible. I had to move trans mount over 2 inches and notch frame for tcase clearance. Pass side exhaust collector sits right above frame rail and pipe hits. So rhis has to be notched too. And motor is twisted in engine bay... Any one have any ideas where I might have went wrong? Or any reference points...

I used the stock 4.0 rubber mounts and made my own plates.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
thats how it should be with that t case.

most ranger engines are not dead center to begin with

i usually roll and cock the engine...though with a 208 or smaller j 208 style case its not too noticeable.

depending on frame style, i also just roll the frame rail down or up for clearance.
