What do I need to know to utilize larger TREs on stock Dana 35 TTB knuckles/pitman arm?

I'm thinking some kind of Dodge or Chevy full size TRE's....whats commonly used on custom applications?

I want to make a TRE version of the Stonecrusher steering setup, TREs on the knuckles, pitman arm, and a large heim (3/4" or 7/8"?) for the saddle joint in front of the driver's side axle beam drop bracket. Going to use 1.25" OD, 0.250" Wall DOM tubing.

Most common swap is chevy 1 ton TREs. You'd have to check the taper and possibly ream your knuckles. I've never done it on a ranger just on zuks and yotas. I'm on my phone right now and can't post links but if you'll check Foxracin's build thread, he has a link to the TREs and bungs from a supplier here on the east coast.

Here's a quote by 4whlflop on the OFN site;
"If you are using larger tie rods, GM, you would be able to buy a reamer and put them on the bottom of the pitman arm. You would have to find the right tapered reamer to match the GM taper. You can find tapered reamers from various off road companies and some race/hot rods shops. You can also drill out the hole in the pitman arm with a drill bit and put in new tapered shims. Check with the vendors on the site here they may have something. Here are some links and information, this can be done to you knuckles and or pitman arm:

This is a good site for fabrication knowledge.
Hope this helps,

I will for sure....I intend to take the guess work out of what might be needed to make this happen, so that others can copy it.

Goals/outcomes:

1) Beefier steering components (chevy 1 ton stuff is the defacto standard and very common)
2) Off the shelf, or very common fab shop parts
3) Less bumpsteer than stick inverted y-link setup (main goal cuz I go through drag links like crazy...)
