thank you all so very much for helping me through this nightmare to get my little blue truck idling again and back in my good graces so i didnt get rid of it. after all the sensors were changed and the timing was checked it still didnt idle right. it was trying but it was revving up and down on it own. as my son stood there in disbelieve wondering what to try now he thought he heard a slight sucking noise. he start checking for a vacuum leak and low and behold a line had come off in a place you could only see through the wheel well. he put back on the nipple it came off and bingo it idles perfect and purrs like a kitten.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Glad to hear it!

My credo
If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
If you don't act surprised when stuff works people will just think you're good. Seriously though, I'd at least cut a little of the hose so it fits good and tight. Or replace the hose entirely.
