Pretty easy to do. Find a junkyard donor and swap it in.

Try an explorer. You might need to compare the column out of the explorer to one in a Ranger to make sure, especially out of a 95 or newer explorer. I think they are the same tho

Explorer works i swapped a 98 tilt, pats, and auto column into a 99 ranger with no pays and a manual. Swapped the manual peices over to expo column along with ignition cylinder. Easy. Expo wheel seems larger diameter than ranger wheel. I did not measure to find out 4 sure

1994 ranger ever come with a tilt (or telescopic?) wheel? Not sure if tilt alone would be useful but I’d sure like to push it I bit closer to the dash. The pedals could be scooted forward an inch or twelve too XD

Rangers were pretty bare bones trucks. Look into the explorers/mountaineers for the cool stuff, like over head map lights, tilt/telescoping columns, center consoles and a lot of other little things that Rangers Never came with.

His didn't and I was just letting him know he didn't have to stick to "Rangers" to get a tilt/telescoping column, and IF he possibly looked into other options, he might even find something else he wants for his truck that it did not come with or was even an option for Rangers.

So when you said 'little things that rangers never came with', it was just words dribbling out uncontrollably?

I got an overhead Compass/Thermometer from an Explorer. MY Ranger didn't come with one. The console in my ford Expo Donor was NOT available in a Ranger and I have seen many of these swopped into Rangers that didn't come with that type of console. Mountaineers had Green (optional) interiors where Rangers did not, so IF one wanted a green interior, you wont find that in a Ranger. So yes words dribbling uncontrollably.

I put Eddie Bauer electric seats and center console in my ranger from Exploders, my wife loves the heated bun warmers.

I’ll have to keep an eye out. Unfortunately I have a single cab, so explorer seats won’t fit without some modification.
