There is a magazine called Vintage Truck that deals with trucks, 80's and earlier, back to the 1900's. I subscribe, but haven't seen any articles on "small trucks".
I messaged the editor about doing some articles on small trucks fro the late 60's, 70's and 80's as they now fit into the years that fit the magazine.
I received a reply that in the July/August issue there will be an article maybe 2 that will be about the early Rangers. They usually do an article about one truck/owner, but it's usually an in-depth write-up.
I asked if they could look into doing a more comprehensive story about all the small trucks from that era, and hopefully it will come.
Just a heads up about the July/August issue (the Vintage Truck magazine is published bi-monthly)
