I didn't put this in AC or heat because it is not happening due to my attempted use of heating, in fact, I was doing everything possible to shut it off

Doing some running around yesterday I began to notice heat from the air vents, Whether or not it has been so present prior to that I really don't know, it has been mostly wintertime lately, or at least cooler, and not drawn attention to it being warm, in fact at that time it would have been fine to have

The AC hasn't worked for several years but I haven't worried about that, I generally just rely on my 240 for keeping cool.

Yesterday late afternoon I was making about a 25 or 30 mile drive coming home, and noticed the heat from the vents was rather high, so I started tinkering with it to slow the heat but there was no way I could get it turned off.

It certainly would not fry an egg, but it was warmer than I recall one being

In 1993 the Blend Door is cable operated, Blend door is opened and closed by the TEMP slider

Blend door is in the cab right were the air from the blower comes in, Blend door routes all air around the heater core, COLD, or all air thru the heater core, HOT, or any where in between

When you move the slider you should hear the Blend Door close all the way or open all the way

Cable for Blend Door is just above glove box, fold down glove box door and you can see the cable sheath and an adjustment for it, move the slider and you can see the arm for the Blend Door move
